Assessment | You will be required to complete field experience practical hours (which will need to be signed off by a Workplace Supervisor who holds a current Pool Plant Operators certificate) and complete a workbook containing theory assessments. Students will also be required to video themselves completing practical assessment tasks which can then be uploaded to You Tube or sent to Active Training on a USB for assessing. |
This course is specifically designed for facilities in remote locations that require Pool Plant operations training for small numbers of staff. The course is self-paced, with each student receiving a workbook, comprehensive handbook and a powerpoint presentation that is accompanied by an audio presentation.
This course provides the student with the skills and knowledge required to make routine checks and complete minor maintenance on aquatic facility plant and equipment including water quality testing.
Upon successful completion, the student will receive a Statement of Attainment certificate.
