Basic swimming skills


You will be required to complete field experience practical hours (which will need to be signed off by a Workplace Supervisor who holds a current Swimming Coach certificate) and complete a workbook containing theory assessments. 

This course has been designed to meet the requirements for those students wishing to commence entry level coaching. It provides the skills and knowledge required to teach the competitive strokes of swimming and includes planning, conducting and evaluating drills, activities and games to develop swimming strokes, starts, turns and finishes. Upon successful completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment certificate.
