This course is for staff responsible for pool testing and will provide the skills and knowledge required to conduct pool water tests, record test results and perform visual checks.

Upon successful completion, you will receive a Statement of Attainment certificate.

Duration

Students have 3 months in which to complete all aspects of the course - theory and practical.

3 month extensions (maximum of 2) are available for a set fee.

Assessment

Assessments will comprise:

Assessment Task 1

Questions and Answers (Resources are available in the LMS Resource section to assist learners with questions.

Assessment Task 2

Observe a qualified Pool Plant Operator complete pool water tests on 2 separate occasions. Under the supervision of a qualified Pool Plant Operator, complete pool water tests on 2 separate occasions.

Assessment Task 3

Video Assessment - students must video and upload footage of themselves completing Pool Water Tests for Free and Total Chlorine, PH, Alkalinity and Calcium Hardness.
